Adding Voice to a Wireless Ethernet-based Networks

Your Needs

Simple and low cost wireless Ethernet has become a popular solution for extending LAN data between remote buildings. There is a strong need to add voice communications between the buildings in order to save telephony costs while merging voice onto the wireless LAN.

Our Solution

The IPmux Gateway uses TDMoIP technology to simply and cost-effectively extend full or fractional E1 or T1 circuits over IP and Ethernet. Since the circuits are extended transparently, full PBX functionality with PSTN quality voice, fax and modem support is achieved without compromise, but at the low price of wireless Ethernet. The bandwidth carrying capability of the Ethernet links should be able to sustain a constant flow of packets with minimum jitter and packet loss.
