Voice and Ethernet to Remote Buildings over Fixed Wireless
Your Needs
Extend voice, LAN and filtered Internet out to remote campus buildings by taking advantage of fixed wireless technology to reduce infrastructure expenses. This needs to be achieved simply and inexpensively without requiring upgrades to existing telephony, video conferencing and security systems. The solution must be transparent to existing voice and video features such as caller ID and E911.
Our Solution
The IPmux-1 TDMoIP gateway and IPmux-1E TDMoIP gateway with internal Ethernet switch option provide simple, integrated solutions to extend E1/T1, quad ISDN BRI or analog voice ports over fixed wireless Ethernet bridges. The integral Ethernet switch has rate limiting capabilities to guarantee Quality of Service for the voice application over the bandwidth constrained link.
Benefits
• Better utilization of fixed wireless networks (up to 16 E1/T1 per link)
• Add native Ethernet service such as Wifi or management traffic
• Capability to rate limit LAN traffic guarantees QoS for voice
