There is a strong need to extend multiple E1/T1 circuits over fiber optic links to have the ability and flexibility of dropping off one or several E1/T1 circuits at nodes along the way.

Our Solution

It is now possible to take advantage of high speed fiber interfaces and the Gigabit capacity of Ethernet switches to extend E1/T1 circuits over fiber optic links. By combining the simplicity and cost of Gigabit Ethernet with the TDMoIP capability of the RAD IPmux Gateway, hundreds of E1/T1 circuits can be extended over Ethernet to provide quality leased line services with distributed cross connect functionality. Implementation is achieved with the ease and flexibility of installing Ethernet switches and CSU/DSUs.
