RAD’s Gmux-2000 TDM pseudo-wire gateways for central offices and IPmux TDM over IP gateways transparently extend T1/E1 circuits over Ethernet, IP or MPLS backbones enabling cellular operators to take advantage of readily available DSL ad cable access infrastructure to transport base station traffic.

 

By using advanced clock recovery algorithms, RAD’s TDM over IP gateways ensure TDM voice quality, guaranteeing the smooth operation of both 2G and 3G cellular equipment when connected over a packet switched network.
